Well, Parks and Rec in Cape Girardeau, MO has $350,000 to blow, errr spend on Capaha Park. I have several redesign suggestions, first is to drain and clean 1/2 of the Lagoon, back to normal depth. 2nd is to fill up 1/2 and empty the other, then they will eliminate the Algae Blooms.
Another point of contention is the slowly sinking Left Field on the Baseball diamond. Running under the Left and Center Fields is a 30" Vitreous Clay Tile which is over 75years old. This Clay Tile has functioned well, but it is well past the time for replacement.
These are very needed improvements to Capaha Park, I hope that our City Leaders will remember that it is a good time to Fiscally Responsible with Cape Girardeau's Taxpayer Funds.
